Suhbat: a torchbearer of Sindhi Literature
Eminent writers like Altaf Shaikh have inspired our generation by showing us a window to the beautiful world, that is vying to be explored. His ubiquitous books in 70-90s helped increase our awareness about the land beyond our own and broaden so many Sindhi minds.
Times have changed since, and technology has transformed our lives in many ways, one of which is easy access to the world of infomation.
With all this said, the pleasure of holding and reading a hard copy book remains unmatched. We are indebted to our authors who have continued to feed knowledge and wisdom to us and we are desperately short of those in Sindh. Suhbat is one such beacon shining in a relatively dark sea of Sindhi literature these days.
