سنڌو سڀيتا تي کوجنا ڪندڙ فورسينڪ اينٿروپلاجسٽ لورا جو ملر نيويارڪ يونيورسٽي جي اينٿروپلاجي ڊپارٽمينٽ جي پروفيسر آهي. پاڻ 1990ع ۾ برڪلي جي ڪيلفورنيا يونيورسٽي مان انٿروپلاجي ۽ تاريخ جي مضمون ۾ بي اي جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. جنهن بعد سنڌو سڀيتا جي اهم ماڳ هڙاپا جي قبرستان مان مليل انساني ڍانچن ته تحقيق ڪري 1994ع ۾ اينٿروپلاجي ۾ ايم اي جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي، ملر ساڳي مضمون ۾ 1997ع ۾ ايم فل ڪرڻ بعد سيپٽمبر 2004ع ۾ نيويارڪ يونيورسٽي مان ڊاڪٽريٽ جي ڊگري ورتي. سندس پي ايڇ ڊي جو موضوع سنڌو ماٿري جي سڀيتا جي شهري معيشت تي تحقيق هيو. ڊاڪٽر لورا ملر کي آرڪيالاجي جي شعبي ۾ فيلڊ ورڪ، فورسينڪ اينٿروپلاجي ۽ بائيو آرڪيالاجي ۾ تحقيق جو 22 سالن جو تجربو حاصل آهي. پاڻ پاڪستان، اسرائيل ۽ آمريڪا ۾ قديم ماڳن تي کوجنا پڻ ڪئي آهي. پاڻ سوسائٽي آف آمريڪن آرڪيالاجي سميت انٽرنيشنل ڪائونسل فار آرڪيازولاجي، پيليوپيٿالاجي ايسوسيئيشن، فورسينڪ آرڪيالاجي ايسوسيئيشن جي به ميمبر آهي.
لورا ملر پاڪستان ۾ هڙاپا آرڪيالاجيڪل ريسرچ پراجيڪٽ تحت کوجنا ڪئي. هن 1993ع کان 1998ع تائين هڙاپا جي شهري تمدن ۽ ان دور ۾ جانورن جي پالنا بابت تحقيقات ڪئي. پاڻ پاڪستان ۽ ڀارت ۾ قديم ماڳن تي تحقيق دوران هتان جون مقامي ٻوليون به ڳالهائڻ سکيون. هوءَ اردو، هندي ۽ پنجابي ڳالهائي سگهي ٿي.
