هن اھم ۽ تاريخي ڪتاب ۾ سنڌو سڀيتا تي تحقيق ڪندڙ ڏيھي توڙي پرڏيھي آرڪيالاجسٽن، جيالاجسٽن، اينٿروپلاجسٽن، ٻولي ۽ لکت جي ماهرن بابت فقط اها ڄاڻ ڏيڻ جي ڪوشش ڪئي وئي آهي، جيڪا سنڌو ماٿريءَ جي سڀيتا سان تحقيق متعلق ڪارگر ٿي سگهي ٿي. هن ڪتاب ۾ سندن انهن ئي ڪتابن، مقالن، ٿيسز ۽ ٻئي مواد جو ذڪر ڪيو ويو آهي. جيڪي سنڌو سڀيتا متعلق تحقيق سان لاڳاپيل آهن. رُڪ سنڌي هن ڪتاب ۾ ڪوشش ڪئي آهي تہ سنڌو سڀيتا متعلق کوجنا ڪندڙ مڙني اهم ماهرن بابت ڄاڻ ڏئي سگهي، ان سلسلي ۾ 95 ماهرن جو تعارف ۽ سندن ٿيل تحقيق کي هن ڪتاب ۾ شامل ڪيو ويو آھي. پر ان باوجود بہ ڪافي اهڙا ماهر رهجي ويا آهن، جيڪي سنڌو تهذيب تي کوجنا سان بلڪل ويجهڙائي واري وقت ۾ سلهاڙيا آهن. ليکڪ جو هي ڪتاب ايندڙ مستقبل ۾ سنڌو سڀيتا تي تحقيق ڪندڙن لاءِ هڪ سونهين طور ڪم ايندو.

پروفيسر رابن ڊينل 1969ع ۾ ڪيمبرج يونيورسٽي مان آرڪيالاجي ۽ اينٿروپلاجي ۾ گريجوئيشن ڪئي. جنهن بعد ساڳي يونيورسٽي مان 1977ع ۾ ڊاڪٽريٽ جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. پاڻ پنهنجي رٽائرمينٽ يعني 2010ع تائين آرڪيالاجي ۽ اينٿروپلاجي جي شعبي سان سلهاڙيل رهيو. ڊينل 1973ع ۾ شفيلڊ يونيورسٽي ۾ آرڪيالاجي جي موضوع تي تدريس سان لاڳاپيل رهيو. 1983ع ۾ سينئر ليڪچرار طور ذميواريون نڀايون. جڏهن ته 1995ع ۾ پروفيسر جي عهدي تي مقرر ڪيو ويو.
رابن ڊينل پنهنجي ڪيريئر جي شروعاتي عرصي دوران آرڪيوباٽني تي کوجنا ڪئي. هن ڏکڻ ايشيا ۽ يورپ ۾ نئين پٿر دور ۾ زراعت ۽ زرعي آبادين بابت تحقيق ڪئي. هن 1981ع کان 1999ع تائين پاڪستان ۾ انساني نسل جي ارتقا متعلق مليل ثابتين ۽ قديم پٿر دور جي آبادين تي تحقيق ڪئي. برٽش آرڪيالاجيڪل مشن طرفان کيس 1988ع ۾ پاڪستان ۾ فيلڊ ڊائريڪٽر مقرر ڪيو ويو. ان دوران هن پاڪستان جي اترين علائقن خاص ڪري سون ماٿري ۾ 12 کان وڌيڪ ماڳن تي فيلڊ ريسرچ ڪئي. ڊينل برٽش اڪيڊمي جي فنڊنگ تحت 2003ع کان 2006ع تائين پاڪستان ۾ اوائلي انساني آبادين بابت کوجنا به ڪئي. آرڪيالاجي ۽ اينٿروپلاجي جي مختلف موضوعن تي سندس 7 ڪتاب ۽ 120 کان وڌيڪ تحقيقي مقالا شايع ٿي چڪا آهن.
