پائلو بيگي Paolo Biagi
اٽلي جي آرڪيالاجسٽ پائلو بيگي سنڌ ۾ پٿر دور جي ماڳن تي ڪافي تحقيق ڪئي آهي. هن اٽلي جي شهر بريسڪا ۾ 30 جنوري 1948ع تي جنم ورتو. پاڻ ميلان يونيورسٽي مان 1972ع ۾ ڪلاسيڪل ادب جي موضوع تي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. جنهن بعد لنڊن يونيورسٽي جي آرڪيالاجي انسٽيٽيوٽ مان 1981ع ۾ آرڪيالاجي تي ڊاڪٽريٽ جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. ميلان يونيورسٽي مان ڊگري حاصل ڪرڻ بعد کيس نيچرل هسٽري ميوزم بريسڪا ۾ پهريان اسسٽنٽ ۽ بعد ۾ ڪيوريٽر مقرر ڪيو ويو. جتي هن 1978ع کان 1981ع تائين ذميواريون نڀايون. جنهن بعد پاڻ گينوا يونيورسٽي جي آرڪيالاجي انسٽيٽيوٽ ۾ 1981ع کان 1988ع تائين محقق طور ڪم ڪيو. بيگي بعد ۾ ڪافوسڪيري يونيورسٽي ۾ ايسوسيئيٽ پروفيسر مقرر ڪيو ويو. جتي هن 1988 کان 2003ع تائين پنهنجا فرض سرانجام ڏنا، جتان کيس ترقي ڏئي ساڳي يونيورسٽي ۾ قديم تاريخ جي شعبي ۾ پروفيسر مقرر ڪيو ويو. جتي اڃا سوڌو ذميواريون نڀائي رهيو آهي.
پائلو بيگي سنڌ، بلوچستان، اٽلي، سلواڪيا، انگلينڊ، رومانيا، مقدونيا، ڪويت، اومان ۽ سارڊينيا ۾ قديم آثارن تي تحقيق ڪئي ۽ ڪيترن ئي قديم ماڳن جي کوٽائي ڪرائي آهي. پاڻ 1993ع کان سنڌ ۾ اٽلي جي آرڪيالاجيڪل مشن جي ڊائريڪٽر طور ذميواريون نڀائي رهيو آهي. هن آرڪيالاجي جي موضوع تي 350 کان وڌيڪ تحقيقي مقالا به تحرير ڪيا آهن. سندس تحقيقي ڪم اطالوي، فرينچ، اسپينش، برٽش، جرمن، پولش، يوڪرينين، رشين، ڪروشين ۽ پاڪستان سميت مختلف ملڪن جي رسالن ۾ مختلف ٻولين ۾ شايع ٿيل آهي. هن اسلام آباد، حيدرآباد، ڄامشوري، ڪوئيٽا، پشاور سميت پاڪستان جي مختلف شهرن ۾ آرڪيالاجي تي ليڪچر به ڏنا آهن. جيڪي سنڌ جي قديم تهذيب، ٻولي ۽ ثقافت بابت انتهائي اهميت لائق آهن. کيس 1991ع ۾ شاهه لطيف يونيورسٽي خيرپور طرفان سندس سنڌ ۾ تحقيق جي مڃتا طور گولڊ ميڊل سان نوازيو ويو. پاڻ شاهه لطيف يونيورسٽي خيرپور ۾ 1998ع کان 2003ع تائين آرڪيالاجي ڊپارٽمينٽ ۾ ايم فل ۽ پي ايڇ ڊي ڪندڙ شاگردن جو ايڪسٽرنل سپروائيزر به رهيو. پاڻ هن وقت قائد اعظم يونيورسٽي اسلام آباد جي ٽيڪسيلا انسٽيٽيوٽ فار ايشين سولائيزيشن ۾ پي ايڇ ڊي ڪندڙ شاگردن جو سپروائيزر مقرر ٿيل آهي. پائلو بيگي سنڌ يونيورسٽي جي سنڌالاجي انسٽيٽيوٽ جي جرنل ”سنڌولاجيڪل اسٽيڊيز“ ۽ قائد اعظم يونيورسٽي اسلام آباد جي ”جرنل آف ايشين سولائيزيشن“ جي ايڊيٽوريل بورڊ جو به ميمبر آهي. اسان هيٺ سندس انهن ڪتابن ۽ تحقيقي مقالن جي فهرست پيش ڪريون ٿا، جيڪي سنڌ جي تهذيب متعلق تحقيق سان لاڳاپيل آهن.
