FROM MISSAN TO MADINA
AN INTRODUCTION OF TRAVEL'S ACCOUNT
Sindhi language is one of the oldest languages of the World. The literature in this language is inexhaustible and very vast and it contains all the genra concerning every walk of life. Along with other branches, there is no lack of Travelogues. In my humble opinion, Sindhi literature is highly obliged to MR. Altaf Shaikh, who has travelled all over the World and pen down his observations to provide the best recreational, historical, social and cultural printed material. But our reverend friend Molvi Mohammad Yamin Shoro in his travelogue, has tried his best to engulf the lack of pure religions printed material in this travelogue. He set of K.S. A. for his sacred pilgrimage of Hajj in 1997.
Whatever Molvi Sahib saw and wherever he went, he presented it in such a decent and detailed manner that readers could visualize all the scenes and sights in front of them just like a mirror. According to my little knowledge, there is less number traveler's account of Makkah and Madina in Sindhi language. Though every year this sacred congregation of millions in holy places need more space in literature to provide instructions and information to the common people.
In the traveler's account ''From Missan To Madina" there is more than sufficient knowledge like blessings of Makkah and Madina, primitive and present history, introduction of Sahabas (companions of the Holy Prophet S. W. A), glimpse of the life style of Holy Prophet (S. W. A) value and importance of Holy place educational institution of K. S. A, political, social and economical conditions and all acts that are performed in Umrah and Hajj as per religious instructions in a very simple and precise manner.
While going throgh this travelogue every pilgrim can get complete religious information about performing Hajj and Umrah.
It is a very useful guide for those, who are aspiring and preparing themselves for the performance of Hajj
Over all this book is very informative and knowledge imparting for all the relegious minded persons and after the publication of this book it will make a good addition in Sindhi literature and I hope all the readers will acknowledge and admire it.
May GOD accept the labour of the writer and make this book useful for every one. (Ameen).
